Whirlpool Appliance Repair

Whirlpool machines — including the Cabrio and top-load HE lines — are workhorses, and I see them constantly across Reseda, the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys, and out the 210 corridor to Rancho Cucamonga. Parts are cheap and always in stock, which keeps most Whirlpool repairs fast and affordable.

Common Whirlpool problems we fix

Washer bangs violently on spin (Cabrio / top-load HE)

That's worn suspension rods — the basket can't stay centered anymore. I replace all four rods as a set; doing one or two just brings you back in a month.

Washer won't agitate or spin — clicking noise

The shift actuator has failed — it clicks trying to shift and never engages. It's a common Cabrio/VMW failure and a straightforward part swap.

Ice maker quit producing

On Whirlpool side-by-sides and French doors, the ice maker module itself usually dies. I test the module, check the fill valve, and replace the ice maker — then verify it cycles and fills correctly.

Dryer no heat

Almost always a blown thermal fuse from a clogged vent, or an open heating element. I replace the failed part and check the vent run — otherwise the new fuse blows again.

Dishwasher not cleaning

The food chopper blade assembly clogs or breaks, so debris keeps recirculating. I pull the sump apart, clean it out, and replace the chopper when it's chewed up.

I service Whirlpool Cabrio and top-load HE washers, front-load washers, electric and gas dryers, side-by-side and French-door refrigerators, dishwashers, and gas/electric ranges.
