Sub-Zero & Wolf Appliance Repair

Sub-Zero built-in refrigeration and Wolf cooking equipment are a different class of machine — sealed systems, dual compressors, dual-fuel ranges — and I service them across the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys and the 210 corridor. These units are worth repairing properly: they're built to run for decades, and they usually deserve the fix.

Common Sub-Zero & Wolf problems we fix

Sub-Zero warm — fridge or freezer section

The usual cause is a sealed-system leak at the evaporator — these units run R-134a/R-600a sealed systems that don't tolerate shortcuts. I pressure-test, locate the leak, repair and recharge — or replace a failed start device if the compressor checks out good.

Sub-Zero condenser fan dead

The condenser fan motor fails and the compressor overheats — warm temps with the compressor running constantly. I replace the fan motor and clean the condenser; on a built-in, airflow is everything.

Wolf range burner won't light / constant clicking

Failed igniter or a bad spark module — the burner clicks forever or never sparks. I test the igniter output and replace the failed component; on dual-fuel models I also check the surface igniter switches.

Wolf oven temperature off

A drifting temperature sensor or a failing control board makes the oven run hot or cold. I verify with a thermometer against the board's reading before replacing anything — calibration is free, parts aren't.

Wolf cooktop burner won't stay lit

Usually the igniter switch under the knob or a weak igniter — the flame lights and dies. I test the switch circuit and replace the worn part.

I service Sub-Zero built-in refrigeration (BI, PRO, and Designer series — all-refrigerator, all-freezer, and wine storage) and Wolf gas, dual-fuel, and induction ranges, wall ovens, and cooktops.
