KitchenAid Appliance Repair
KitchenAid sits in a lot of Valley kitchens, and I service their full line across the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys and the 210 corridor — dishwashers, French-door and bottom-freezer refrigerators, slide-in ranges, wall ovens. Premium machines, but the failure patterns are familiar territory.
Common KitchenAid problems we fix
Dishwasher not cleaning / grinding noise
The food chopper assembly clogs or strips — food particles keep recirculating and the pump strains. I tear down the sump, clean it out, and replace the chopper when it's damaged.
Fridge section warm, freezer fine
Usually the evaporator fan motor died — cold air can't reach the fridge compartment. Sometimes it's iced over from a defrost issue; I check both before calling it.
Range / wall oven display dead or wrong temps
KitchenAid touchpads and control boards fail regularly — dead displays, buttons that don't respond, ovens running 50 degrees off. I test the board and keypad separately so you're not paying for both.
Gas range oven won't bake
The igniter glows but the valve never opens — weak igniter, the classic gas-oven failure. Replacement takes one visit and restores full flame.
Ice maker stopped producing
KitchenAid modular ice makers wear out — the mold heater or motor gives up. I replace the module and confirm the fill valve feeds it properly.
I service KitchenAid dishwashers, French-door and bottom-freezer refrigerators, slide-in and freestanding gas/electric ranges, wall ovens, and cooktops.
